I had a long and hard 72 hour labor. I had a couple moments of wanting to give up but Jade was there to help remind me I could do it.
During my pregnancy, Jade got to know all my wants and needs, dreams big and small on what my ideal birth would look like. She learned how to comfort me and helped inform me on how my partner and I can advocate for ourselves to achieve getting what we wanted.
Jade has an endless amount of knowledge on birth that any pregnant woman would benefit from. I am forever grateful to her for helping me have the beautiful, calm physiological birth that I worked so hard for.
I will be calling her to attend my future births as well. She was there before, during and after my birth and I couldn’t imagine her not being there for all of it.
